Former homosexuals can be defined as people who although they had/have same-sex attractions, believe that their biological design tells them who they are and that sexual orientation can change, and they do not believe it to be innate. Many have experienced complete sexual orientation change, while some still have unwanted same-sex attractions and choose to live lives of chastity due to personal convictions they hold dear.
We advocate for the protection of the constitutional rights of former homosexuals. We want to ensure the safety and inclusion of former homosexuals in all realms of society, and supports their equal access to all public venues.
Former homosexuals and their supporters should not have to be closeted for fear of other’s negative reactions or disapproval.
Former homosexuals do not think something is wrong with them because they decided to pursue their heterosexual potential. Nor do they believe others should condemn them for the personal decision they have made for their lives.
Full diversity must include the former homosexual community.
